About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney, a tertiary private hospital in Darlinghurst founded in 1857, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse. The nurse provides safe, patient-centred, evidence-based care across surgical, medical and specialty services, working with nursing, medical and allied health teams. The role offers professional development, teaching, mentoring and leadership opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centred and evidence-based care that meets individual patient needs and goals
• Provide quality nursing care across a diverse range of surgical, medical and specialty services
• Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Promote quality, safety and service excellence through effective clinical practice and continuous improvement
• Develop clinical skills through professional development, teaching, mentoring and leadership opportunities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2 years' acute care nursing experience
• Flexible and willing to work a range of shift patterns, including days and nights
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Passion for patient-centred care; ENT and Neurology experience highly regarded
