Registered Nurse

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Townsville Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms, document health history, and administer medications.
• Provide immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, support patients and assist with care plans and health summaries.
• Assist with telehealth consultations and clinical procedures, maintaining documentation.
• Coordinate treatment room activities, including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection control practices and support reception and practice management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration, police check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment with multitasking and time‑management abilities.
