Registered Nurse - Hospital in the Home (HITH)

About the role

Pop-Up Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its expanding Hospital in the Home (HITH) team in Adelaide. The nurse provides 1:1 specialist acute and post-acute care to patients in their own homes, covering a range of clinical tasks such as IV medication administration, wound care and phlebotomy. Casual and permanent positions are available, with AM and PM shifts across a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Ideally complex wound care experience, including negative pressure wound therapy
• Experience with male and female catheter placement highly desired
• Ability to recognise and respond to a deteriorating patient
• Willingness to cover the private school nursing program
• Current AHPRA registration, national police clearance, unrestricted SA driver's licence, Working with Children and NDIS clearances, and current manual handling, first aid and CPR certificates
• Proof of mandatory vaccinations, including COVID and flu
