Registered Nurse - Home Care

About the role

Mercy Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its home care service in Hughesdale. The nurse supports clients who want to live independently at home by providing complex nursing care tailored to individual needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans and regularly assessing, reviewing and evaluating client care. The role is casual and requires availability on Tuesdays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex nursing care to clients living at home, meeting their individual needs
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Assess, review and evaluate consumer care on a regular basis
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Home Care Workers as required

Required profile

• Reliable, resilient and genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in the community
• Previous experience in home care or aged care is beneficial but not essential
• Must hold registration as a Midwife with AHPRA, NDIS clearance, a First Aid certificate including CPR, a driver's licence, a current COVID-19 certificate and proof of current influenza vaccination
