Registered Nurse (General Practice)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Mambourin Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms, document health history, and administer medications.
• Provide immunisations, injections, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, offer support and reassurance, and assist with care plans and shared health summaries.
• Support telehealth consultations and assist doctors with clinical procedures.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure infection‑control practices.
• Coordinate treatment‑room activities, including stock control, sterilisation, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Current Police Check and First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and manage time effectively.

• Triage and wound‑management procedures.
• Chronic disease management protocols.
• Use of Best Practice clinical software (preferred).
• Clinical documentation and care‑plan development.
