Registered Nurse – Fixed-Term Aged Care (Weekend Shifts)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a fixed‑term, weekend‑only position at Singleton Community Aged Care. The role runs from 13 June 2026 to 7 August 2027 (Saturday and Sunday, 14:30‑22:30) and involves leading a team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and support Enrolled Nurses and PCAs in daily resident care activities.
• Maintain accurate digital health records and communicate updates to the multidisciplinary team.
• Uphold the organisation’s values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Empathy.
• Monitor resident wellbeing, addressing physical, social and emotional needs.
• Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated empathy, strong communication and natural leadership abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital health record systems.
