Clinical Psychologist / Licensed Counselor

About the role

Intellect Care is seeking qualified Clinical Psychologists and Licensed Counsellors to provide 1‑on‑1 mental health support via telehealth or onsite in Kununurra. You will work with clients experiencing a range of moderate to severe mental health challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 60‑minute individual counselling or psychotherapy sessions to clients.
• Address clinical cases including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addiction and more.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team to enhance the platform and client programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Counselling/Counselling Psychology (for counsellors) or Clinical Psychology (for psychologists).
• Minimum 300 hours of post‑qualification clinical or counselling experience.
• Valid and active professional licence for practice in Australia.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or other evidence‑based approaches.
• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) or Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
