About the role

The Emergency Department at Queanbeyan Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide fast‑paced, lifesaving care. You will join a supportive team that values expertise, continuous learning, and patient‑centred outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred nursing care in line with best‑practice evidence.
• Assess, triage and manage patients presenting with emergency conditions.
• Participate in resuscitation efforts and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality care.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to less‑experienced clinicians.

Required profile

• Current APRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three years of recent clinical experience in Emergency Nursing, including triage and resuscitation.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and competence maintenance.
• Effective verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.
