Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

Mercy Health is recruiting experienced registered nurses for its Emergency Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital, which is opening a major expansion that doubles ED capacity with 34 new treatment spaces, including resuscitation bays and short-stay beds. The position is permanent, with full-time or part-time options on a rotating roster.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Postgraduate Critical Care qualification (highly regarded, but not essential)
• At least 12 months of experience in an Emergency Department
• Resilient, compassionate and committed to patient-centred care
• Willingness to provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, and proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders
