About the role

Join the fast‑growing Emergency Department at Maitland Hospital as a Registered Nurse. You will deliver safe, compassionate, person‑centred care to a diverse range of patients while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely clinical assessment, treatment and triage of emergency presentations.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health and support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care accurately and contribute to evidence‑based practice.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality‑safety programs.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff as you develop your own expertise.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Recent acute‑care experience; emergency department experience is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork and ongoing professional development.
