Registered Nurse - Dalkeith Gardens Home, Traralgon

About the role

Benetas is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for its Dalkeith Gardens home in Traralgon, which serves 112 residents. The role provides specialist nursing care focused on the needs of older adults, in a supportive and respectful environment. Permanent part-time and full-time positions are available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resident-focused care for specialised nursing needs such as diabetes management, wound care, infection control, pain management and medication.
• Maintain documentation, complete resident assessments, incident investigations and related care documents.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical care, monitor residents and escalate changes as required.
• Spend time with residents to connect, share stories and show empathy.
• Provide guidance and support to the care team, including Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses.

Required profile

• Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• AHPRA registration as a Division 1 nurse.
• Good judgement and decision-making, able to respond quickly to issues and resolve them effectively.
• Empathy, dignity and respect for residents, and a collaborative approach with residents, staff, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.

• Pay of $46-$51.79 per hour plus superannuation, with annual pay increases under the Enterprise Agreement.
