Registered Nurse, Critical Care 1

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health, the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, is recruiting experienced Critical Care nurses to join its expanding Critical Care team. The role is open to nurses working across clinical leadership positions such as Shift Coordination, Clinical Education, ACCESS Nurse, Clinical Liaison Service and bedside clinical roles, with learning and development opportunities alongside a supportive clinical leadership team.

The Critical Care Service on the Albury campus includes a Level 5 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Clinical Liaison Service, Donate Life Program and management of the remote cardiac monitoring service for the acute campus. The ICU has 5 ICU or equivalent beds and treats around 700 critically ill patients each year.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2 years' experience after specialty qualification in a large regional or tertiary service within the area of specialty
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 and flu, or an approved medical contraindication certificate
