Registered Nurse - Community Nursing

About the role

Amplar Health, part of the Medibank Group, is recruiting Registered Nurses for its growing Community Nursing team in Adelaide, in full-time or part-time permanent positions. Community nurses build rapport with clients in their homes while delivering care according to personalised care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care and service to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Carry out health assessments, chronic wound care and medication administration
• Educate and support patients and their families

Required profile

• Previous experience in the community, delivering a broad range of nursing care and interventions
• Comfortable working autonomously with a patient-centred approach and able to recognise client deterioration
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 2 years' recent acute experience in a hospital or community setting
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Competent IT skills and literacy

Required skills

• PICC management and cannulation
• Chronic wound care and negative pressure therapy
• Continence management
• Paediatric experience
