Registered Nurse – Clinical Care

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at Aya Medical Centre. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms, and document health histories.
• Administer medications, immunisations, and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management, and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and reassurance to patients.
• Assist with care plans, health summaries, and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate treatment room activities, including stock control, sterilisation, and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection control practices and assist with reception and practice management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Compassionate, collaborative, and able to work with urgency.
• Valid Police Check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate, and immunisation record.
