Registered Nurse – Chinese Speaking Facility (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Chinese‑speaking aged‑care facility in Ashfield, Sydney. The role involves leading clinical care, developing resident care plans and supporting a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate individualised care plans for residents.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and provide direct nursing care.
• Coordinate with medical, allied health professionals and families to advocate for residents’ quality of life.
• Supervise and mentor Personal Care Workers.
• Lead the team using critical decision‑making and holistic practice.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and a nursing degree.
• Experience in aged‑care or community nursing, or relevant health‑sector experience.
• Adaptable, empathetic, strong time‑management and alignment with Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning.
• Leadership and supervision of care staff.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families.
