Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

Cabrini Health in Malvern is hiring a Grade 2 Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Catheter Lab. The three cath labs perform over 3,000 procedures a year, with elective services Monday to Friday and a 24-hour on-call service for the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Full-time and part-time ongoing positions are available, paid $42.61-$55.24 per hour plus super.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Deliver care to patients to meet Cabrini's organisational goals.
• Attend to the needs of patients and families while maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Victorian Working with Children Check.
• Previous experience in Cardiac Catheter Labs (essential).
• Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes, and enthusiasm for a team environment.

Required skills

• Skills in interventional and structural cardiology (both preferred).
