Registered Nurse - Aged Care (Leeton)

About the role

NSW Health is recruiting Registered Nurses for a permanent part-time and casual aged care position in Leeton. The nurse delivers person-centred, evidence-based care within a team supported by experienced leaders, including the Facility Manager, Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator. The role is open to candidates who want flexible work to balance career and lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to patients and their carers, demonstrating patient-centred care, trust and respect in every interaction
• Establish and evaluate the patient's plan of care in partnership with the patient, carers and the wider health care team
• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and contribute to the best possible outcomes for patients

Required profile

• Confident clinician with an engaging personality aligned with NSW Health core values of collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current Australian working rights
• Category A position requiring immunisation and screening; applicants must complete the OASV undertaking and TB assessment tool and provide vaccination evidence
