Registered Mental Health Nurse (Community) - Permanent

About the role

A Melbourne-based client is looking for experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN3) with community care capability to support a new Hospital in the Home service model opening in early 2026. Positions are open to local and international applicants, with visa sponsorship (SID482) offered for the right candidate.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent)
• At least three years' full-time or equivalent experience in mental health settings (acute, community or crisis intervention) for domestic candidates, or four years for international candidates

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and contemporary service frameworks
• Strong assessment, risk management and therapeutic engagement skills
