Regional Manager - Military (Southern NSW / ACT)

About the role

Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Regional Manager to lead both on and off base service delivery across a designated military region in Southern NSW / ACT. The role supports Defence and rehabilitation contracts, leading regional operations, building high-performing teams and strengthening relationships with Defence stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and report on regional service delivery so that contractual KPIs, service standards and compliance requirements are met
• Promote clinical governance, safety and continuous quality improvement, meeting regulatory requirements
• Build strong relationships with ADF representatives such as Commanding Officers, Health Centre Managers and Regional Rehab Managers, and act as escalation point for complex issues
• Lead, coach and develop teams, support workforce planning, recruitment, retention and capability development, and foster wellbeing, engagement and safety
• Manage regional P&L, revenue, margin and EBITDA while balancing commercial outcomes with service quality
• Represent Acumen Health at customer meetings, contract reviews and industry forums

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or another relevant Allied Health discipline, with current professional registration
• Minimum 5 years' experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management or similar
• Experience managing customers and budgets or financial performance metrics
• Strategic leadership in complex stakeholder environments, with strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
