Regional Manager – Apprenticeship Support (Launceston)

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead apprenticeship support services across Launceston and surrounding areas. You will work directly with apprentices and employers, providing accurate information on apprenticeship rights, obligations, and training pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face sign‑up processes for Australian Apprentices, ensuring clear understanding of the Training Contract.
• Determine appropriate qualifications and guide apprentices and employers through completion of contracts.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including training providers and government bodies.
• Promote and support initiatives that improve apprenticeship completion rates.
• Provide ongoing advice and assistance throughout the apprenticeship or traineeship.

Required profile

• Organised, autonomous individual comfortable in a busy environment.
• Experience working ‘in‑field’ within the Australian Apprenticeship System (preferred).
• Proven ability to build rapport with business community and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated client‑service and business‑development experience.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to use external computer‑based databases.
• Strong communication, liaison and networking capabilities.
