About the role

Join the Inclusive Employment Australia Program as an Employment Consultant and make a real impact on the lives of people with disability. You will work from our Launceston site, combining participant support with employer engagement to create sustainable job pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Support participants facing barriers such as disability, injury or long‑term unemployment to become job‑ready.
• Coach participants on resume writing, interview techniques and job‑search strategies.
• Facilitate access to training, upskilling and work experience opportunities.
• Actively market candidates to local businesses through cold calls, visits and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of employers, negotiating job trials, work‑experience placements and wage subsidies.
• Advocate for participants with employers, highlighting the commercial and social value of inclusive recruitment.
• Track participant progress, manage compliance documentation and enter data in line with program requirements.
• Achieve and exceed KPI targets for placements, employer engagement and activity levels.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting people with disability to secure meaningful employment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both participants and employers.
• Ability to balance people‑focused coaching with proactive business development.
• Experience in job coaching, resume assistance or similar employment services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding placement and engagement targets.
