Regional Fleet and Transport Manager

About the role

The Regional Fleet & Transport Manager leads the safe, compliant and efficient movement of students across all OneSchool Global campuses nationwide. Based in Sydney, this senior position combines strategic direction with hands‑on oversight of fleet and transport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national fleet and transport strategy aligned with safety, compliance and operational goals.
• Standardise a national fleet operating model and oversee the full fleet lifecycle – procurement, maintenance, asset management and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and WHS requirements.
• Lead national safety programmes, driver compliance, inspections and incident management.
• Govern fleet systems, telematics and transport platforms to provide accurate data and reporting.
• Manage driver and volunteer onboarding, training and compliance.
• Oversee supplier relationships and the national fleet budget, driving cost efficiency and sustainable initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet management or transport operations, preferably in multi‑site or multi‑state environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and WHS frameworks.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
