Recruitment Officer

About the role

Goldstar Transport is expanding its operations in Western Australia and seeks a full‑time Recruitment Officer. You will coordinate recruitment across the business with a strong focus on operational and driver hiring, ensuring a professional candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for approved vacancies across multiple business areas.
• Prepare engaging job advertisements and post vacancies on various recruitment platforms.
• Screen applications, conduct phone interviews and coordinate interview panels with hiring managers.
• Conduct reference checks, gather compliance documents and manage pre‑employment requirements.
• Coordinate employment offers and facilitate seamless onboarding.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and report on activity and key metrics.
• Ensure recruitment practices are compliant, inclusive and aligned with organisational policies and legislation.

Required profile

• Organised, motivated recruitment professional who takes ownership of vacancies.
• Comfortable speaking with drivers and candidates, and following up with managers.
• Understanding of the importance of candidate experience in a competitive transport labour market.

Required skills

• Previous recruitment experience within the transport industry.
• Experience recruiting HC/MC drivers or high‑volume operational roles.
• Strong knowledge of drivers’ licences, qualifications and pre‑employment processes.
• Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High attention to detail, sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.
