Recruitment Advisor

About the role

GenusPlus Group is seeking an energetic Recruitment Advisor to join its high‑performing team at the new Kewdale office. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of construction, infrastructure, renewables and industrial projects, helping to attract Australia’s top technical and trade talent.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide market insights.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment from job brief through offer and onboarding.
• Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, referrals and networking.
• Make outbound calls to engage candidates and build lasting talent relationships.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and repeat hiring needs.
• Screen, interview and match candidates to appropriate opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in JobAdder and support recruitment reporting.
• Contribute ideas to improve sourcing strategies, processes and employer branding.

Required profile

• Previous experience in agency or internal recruitment managing end‑to‑end processes.
• Proactive “go‑and‑find‑them” mindset with strong sourcing and headhunting capability.
• Confidence making outbound calls and engaging passive candidates.
• Experience recruiting technical, engineering, construction, mining, infrastructure or trade roles (highly regarded).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency and a current driver’s licence.
