Receptionist – Radiology Department

About the role

Lumus Imaging is seeking a full‑time Receptionist to join the radiology department at the La Trobe Private clinic in Bundoora. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will support a busy outpatient and occasional inpatient service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Manage radiology exam bookings and general clerical duties.
• Maintain accurate patient records with strong data‑entry accuracy.
• Communicate courteously with other receptionists, referring doctors and medical professionals.
• Process billing and banking tasks related to Medicare, DVA, health funds and work‑cover.
• Provide occasional cover for nearby departments as needed.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail for record‑keeping and billing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
