Quarry Operator – Mobile Plant & Equipment

About the role

Regional Group Australia is seeking experienced Quarry Operators to join their team at the Anakie site in Victoria. The role involves operating a range of mobile plant equipment to support daily quarry production while maintaining a strong focus on safety and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant machinery including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and routine maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete pre‑start checks on all plant before each shift.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and adhere to RGA WHS policies and procedures.
• Follow instructions from the Quarry Supervisor and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card.
• Previous experience working in a quarry environment.
• Relevant RII tickets (preferred but not essential).
• Proactive, organised approach with the ability to use initiative.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
