Quarry Operator – Clarence Quarry

About the role

We are looking for a Quarry Operator to join our team at Clarence Quarry, located in the Blue Mountains near Lithgow, NSW. This is a permanent full‑time position working Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime and occasional Saturday shifts. The role focuses on safe operation of sand washing plant equipment and general maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment including dump trucks, front‑end loaders and excavators.
• Run the sand washing plant to process material.
• Carry out fixed‑plant inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist with any quarry tasks during busy periods as required.

Required profile

• Valid tickets and experience operating loaders, dump trucks and excavators (preferred).
• Strong commitment to zero‑harm safety and safety‑leadership principles.
• Strict adherence to pre‑start and maintenance procedures for both fixed and mobile plant.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a small team with a professional “can‑do” attitude.

What we offer

• Base hourly rate from $35.54 to $39.35 (AUD) plus overtime and superannuation.
