Quality & OpEx Lead

About the role

The Quality & OpEx Lead will manage quality systems (ISO 9001) and drive operational excellence across Netafim Australia & New Zealand. You will ensure compliance with the Netafim Australia Management System and promote continuous improvement throughout the site.

Key responsibilities

• Administer ISO‑based quality systems, plan and execute internal audits, and manage corrective actions.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma and OpEx initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and policy deployment processes.
• Oversee the offline quality laboratory, maintain equipment calibration, and ensure accurate testing records.
• Collect and analyse quality metrics (DPPM, COPQ, scrap) and report on KPI performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage ISO‑aligned systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and lead audit programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working with production, supply chain, and corporate QA teams.

Required skills

• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 compliance.
• Lean Six Sigma tools: Kaizen, RCCA, TPM, SPC, 5S, OMA.
• SAP QA module for product approvals and quality releases.
• Data analysis of quality and scrap metrics.
