Quality Manager

About the role

Monadelphous is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality management on a major power station project in Queensland. You will work closely with project, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to embed quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Establish and maintain quality systems, procedures and processes aligned with client and contractual requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation and project records.
• Coordinate audits, surveillance activities and quality assessments.
• Monitor contractor and supplier compliance with quality specifications.
• Handle non‑conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support vendor inspections, material verification and quality acceptance processes.
• Provide quality leadership to project teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Prepare quality reporting, KPI tracking and performance updates for senior management and clients.
• Facilitate lessons learned and promote a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in quality management within construction, energy, power generation, mining, oil & gas or major infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as a Quality Manager, QA Manager or Senior Quality Advisor on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 standards.
