Quality & Excellence Specialist

About the role

As a Quality & Excellence Specialist you will ensure that products supplied to Woolworths Supermarkets meet the highest quality and safety standards. Based in Moorebank, you will support multiple distribution centres and work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain critical food safety controls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Q&E specialist support to Moorebank, Erskine Park, Erskine Park Xdock and Hoxton Park DCs.
• Assemble and lead a HACCP team to implement and maintain the HACCP system within the Q&E programme.
• Identify, investigate and resolve non‑conformances, implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic verification of support programmes through site inspections and walkthroughs.
• Perform internal audits of food safety controls and processes.
• Maintain calibration schedules, records and service reports for testing, measuring and inspection equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a FMCG distribution centre or warehousing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, logical reasoning and solution‑focused problem‑solving.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Required skills

• HACCP methodology (accreditation preferred but not essential).
