Quality Engineer – Infrastructure Project (T2D Alliance)

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance in delivering South Australia's largest road infrastructure project. Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will ensure that all quality management processes meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality management processes in line with the organisation's QMS and ISO 9001 standards.
• Develop quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and Activity Method Statements (AMS).
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier quality processes.
• Manage non‑conformances, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to close audit findings.
• Maintain detailed quality records and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Experience with quality management systems and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Proven ability to develop and execute inspection and test plans.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Ability to work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
