Quality Engineer – FIFO FRP Infrastructure Project

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer to join our operations team on a remote FRP infrastructure project in New South Wales. Working on a 2/1 FIFO roster, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications, drawings and standards.
• Coordinate quality inspections with the client and manage non‑conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain material certifications, inspection records and overall document control.
• Perform internal quality audits and support external client audits.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities with project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer or Site Engineer with a civil contractor.
• Previous experience on large‑scale FRP, tunnel or concrete infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Full Australian work rights and excellent communication and organisational skills.
