Quality Coordinator

About the role

Sunny Queen is looking for a passionate Quality Coordinator to drive food safety and quality across its egg production site. You will act as the key link between Quality and Manufacturing, ensuring day‑to‑day quality and food safety matters are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, SQF, Halal and export requirements.
• Conduct inspections, testing, product assessments, calibration checks and product release processes.
• Coordinate site sampling programs, including microbiological, allergen and environmental monitoring.
• Investigate quality incidents, support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to production teams on quality and food safety procedures.
• Represent Quality in production meetings and communicate issues to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the food industry.
• Self‑motivated with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent influencing, negotiating and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Positive attitude, high attention to detail and commercial mindset.

Required skills

• SQF (Safe Quality Food) system knowledge.
• Halal certification requirements.
• Microbiological testing techniques.
• Allergen and environmental monitoring.
• Calibration compliance and equipment verification.
