Qualified Childcare Educator

About the role

Mulberry Tree Childcare, a privately owned and operated family business in Western Australia with more than 30 years of experience supporting children and families, is recruiting a full-time Qualified Educator for its team in Broome. The educator fosters children's curiosity and guides them to explore in small groups, building trust and a sense of security in upcycled learning environments. The role is relationship-centred and aligned with the National Quality Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote children's education through planned learning opportunities and foster curiosity.
• Create small-group activities that let children grow and explore.
• Guide staff in delivering a fun, safe, high-quality service that meets the National Quality Standards.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, staff and the community.

Required profile

• Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA-approved equivalent; candidates working towards the diploma are also considered.
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR and First Aid certificates, or willingness to obtain them.
• Current Western Australian WWCC.
• Completed National Child Safety training (foundation modules) through Geccko.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility and reliability, and a passion for making a difference in every child's life.

• Salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, with 10% above award wage.
