QA/QMP Technician – Southern Western Australia

About the role

The QA/QMP Technician supports the Quality Maintenance Program for McDonald’s sites across Southern Western Australia. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will conduct quality maintenance visits, implement customer projects and provide feedback on equipment performance, data integrity and invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality maintenance visits to customer sites across the region.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality‑assurance activities on beverage equipment.
• Repair equipment and ensure it meets standards on the first visit.
• Participate in safety activities such as toolbox talks and job safety checks.
• Record work, data and outcomes accurately using IT tools.
• Support customer projects and contribute feedback on quality issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously develop technical capability and support team success.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Technical background in refrigeration or electrical systems preferred.
• Understanding of post‑mix and frozen beverage equipment.
• Experience in parts and inventory management is advantageous.
• Minimum Certificate II in Electrical Safety (required).
• Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight stays.
