QA/QC Technician

About the role

As a QA/QC Technician you will support the Quality Team by ensuring the quality and compliance of manufactured prepared media products. You will maintain QMS processes, assist the QC lab and drive process improvements while collaborating with colleagues to deliver results for customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain quality management system processes, including document and record control, change management, deviation reporting and data trending.
• Maintain product master data, formulations and batch instructions in the manufacturing system.
• Assist with product failure/root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide QC support for environmental monitoring, physical testing, equipment calibration, cleaning and sample maintenance.
• Prepare animal‑derived component and manufacturer declarations.

Required profile

• Experience working in a regulated Quality Management System; knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or ISO 17025 is desirable.
• Qualification in quality management or a science‑related field (certificate, diploma or degree).
• Experience in a laboratory environment is desirable.
• Strong administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing resource systems such as SAP.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving and corrective‑action implementation capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
