QA/QC Inspector – Perth

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to join its Quality team in Perth. Reporting to the Manager Quality & Risk, you will ensure that project deliverables meet company, client and regulatory standards while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with project‑specific requirements, industry codes and standards.
• Assist in creating, implementing and maintaining procedures, work practices, plans and protocols.
• Support project control activities such as scheduling, forecasting and reporting.
• Provide advice on the Quality Management System (QMS) relative to client contracts.
• Monitor quality performance, prepare reports and manage QA/QC activities.
• Develop and maintain project quality plans and communicate contractual quality requirements.
• Carry out site engineer duties with a focus on safety, environment and community relations.
• Conduct vendor inspections, review vendor quality documentation and manage audits.
• Mentor team members and contribute to succession planning.
• Manage non‑compliance processes and resolve customer‑issued NCRs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in project or field engineering, preferably on mineral processing plants or similar capital projects.
• Tertiary qualification or trade background in engineering, welding, material science, construction management or business management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors and co‑workers.
