Purchasing Officer – Supply Chain (Brisbane)

About the role

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join its Supply Chain team in Brisbane. The role ensures that Komatsu parts are available where and when customers need them, managing the full purchasing cycle from order creation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities from purchase order issuance through to delivery, including raising firm future orders and expediting priority orders.
• Resolve supply issues across the national network, collaborating with Parts Supply, Planning, Logistics, and OEM suppliers.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Master Data, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Support strong customer outcomes by maintaining high data accuracy and proactive communication.

Required profile

• Experience in parts, purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or logistics operations.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy.
• Good Excel capability and solid organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
