Purchasing Officer – Rare Earths Refinery

About the role

Iluka Resources is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support its first fully integrated rare earths refinery in Eneabba, Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services that keep the refinery operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of stock, materials and services for refinery operations.
• Process purchase requisitions and orders promptly, source quotations and engage suppliers.
• Expedite material orders, resolve blocked invoices and handle purchasing administration.
• Provide SAP and procurement process support to internal stakeholders and contribute to category‑management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promote continuous improvement and support site safety objectives.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or related commercial activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across operations, maintenance, commercial and supply‑chain teams.

Required skills

• SAP Purchase‑to‑Pay processes (or similar ERP system).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
