Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

Essense Designs, a global bridal fashion leader, is looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join its Osborne Park office. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring inventory accuracy across our international supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders with overseas factory partners.
• Monitor order and delivery schedules, alerting stakeholders to any delays or risks.
• Respond to order enquiries, resolve discrepancies, late deliveries, and product returns.
• Coordinate factory shipments and verify import/export documentation for compliance.
• Process goods receipts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
• Support warehouse stocktakes and regular inventory updates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Identify and propose improvements to purchasing and supply‑chain processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics or a similar coordination role.
• Strong organisational ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with internal teams and international suppliers.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems such as AP21, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.
