Public Area Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join a world‑class luxury resort as a Public Area Attendant, ensuring all public and back‑of‑house spaces are immaculate and guest‑ready. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team to deliver a seamless, high‑standard experience for guests enjoying the Whitsundays.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, outdoor areas and guest facilities.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, polishing, dusting, waste removal and supply replenishment.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or cleanliness concerns for swift resolution.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, event set‑ups and seasonal cleaning as needed.
• Support the wider Housekeeping team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or resort environment.
