Provisional Psychologist (NDIS)

About the role

Ability Action Australia is a national NDIS provider delivering allied health services across 300+ locations, with office hubs in Queensland including North Lakes. As its Psychology team grows, it is seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join a supportive, respectful and professional workplace. The main role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, client-centred interventions in a professional, confidential and culturally safe way
• Carry out comprehensive assessments using clinical observations and standardised tools, and interpret findings to set treatment goals
• Support and manage your case load
• Help participants and other stakeholders develop and review support plans
• Collaborate with other health professionals and key stakeholders on client care
• Complete case notes, reports and correspondence to required standards, legislative requirements and ethical guidelines
• Attend monthly team meetings and team-led in-services, and engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration
• Completed Master's degree in psychology
• High standard of professional ethics
• Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance
• Driver's licence (at minimum provisional) and access to a car with comprehensive insurance
