Proposal Specialist

About the role

KBR is seeking a Proposal Specialist to lead capture planning, bid management and coordination for strategic pursuits. You will manage end‑to‑end proposal development, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time submissions that meet Australian bid methods and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales leads with client, competitor and market research, core client strategies and executive summaries.
• Lead and facilitate workshops from lead identification through submittal, developing and implementing proposal management plans.
• Mentor proposal core teams on win strategy, oversee transition from capture plan to proposal plan, and assist the Proposal Lead with program creation.
• Write and guide the development of executive summaries and ensure documentation integrity throughout the bid process.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, English, Journalism or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proposal development experience with strong writing and editing abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work collaboratively with technical teams.
