Property Lawyer – Queensland Conveyancing

About the role

We are seeking both junior and senior Queensland Property Lawyers to join our award‑winning conveyancing practice in Brisbane. You will supervise and support a team of experienced conveyancing paralegals while applying your legal expertise to complex property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support conveyancing paralegals throughout the transaction process.
• Handle specialised matters such as water licences, road licences, permits to occupy, easements, covenants, mining tenements, and conduct and compensation agreements.
• Review and negotiate contracts, including off‑the‑plan agreements, retirement village contracts and related‑party transactions.
• Assist with contract disputes and provide guidance on complex property law issues.

Required profile

• Holder of a Queensland Law Society practising certificate (eligible to practice in NSW is a plus).
• Experience in property law and conveyancing, preferably with exposure to both Queensland and New South Wales law.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (minimum one day per week in the office).
• Desire to mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of future legal practitioners.
