Project Manager - Stone Benchtops

About the role

A family-owned stone benchtop manufacturer in Prestons, Sydney is looking for a Project Manager. This is an office-based position that runs projects from sign-off through to installation, keeping the office, factory and install crews in step so every job is made and fitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Book check measures and stone installations
• Run the factory production schedule so every job is manufactured on time
• Balance daily workloads across the office, factory and install teams
• Make sure jobs are ready for their scheduled install date
• Act as main point of contact for clients, builders, joiners, suppliers and installers
• Track project timelines and get ahead of schedule changes or delays
• Handle client enquiries by phone and email
• Keep job records accurate and project details up to date
• Work with management to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Deliver excellent customer service from first contact to final install

Required profile

• Project management, coordination or scheduling experience
• Prior stone industry experience (required)
• Check-measure and stone installation experience is a big advantage
• Able to manage multiple projects at once

Required skills

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Clear communicator with a customer-first attitude
• Confident with Microsoft Office and job software
