Project Manager – SaaS Implementation

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join ecoPortal’s PMO team and lead the delivery of our health‑and‑safety SaaS platform for clients in New Zealand and Australia. The role will oversee a portfolio of implementations, from standard roll‑outs to bespoke solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the customer’s expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of SaaS implementations, from kick‑off through to hand‑over to business‑as‑usual.
• Lead project planning, scope definition and change‑request management in line with contract agreements.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams – Business Analysts, Implementation Specialists – and work closely with customer stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Facilitate customer sign‑off, post‑implementation reviews and ensure a smooth transition to ongoing support.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SaaS or technology implementation projects.
• Strong communication, planning and risk‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering high satisfaction.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with scope, budget and timeline control.
