Project Manager – Rio Tinto Sustaining Capital Projects

About the role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Karratha Projects team, delivering Rio Tinto Sustaining Capital (SMP) projects across Cape Lambert, Dampier and Mesa. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from tendering and estimating through execution, while ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of SMP projects, from initiation to close‑out.
• Participate in tendering, estimating and procurement processes.
• Control resources, costs and commercial aspects of each project.
• Lead HSE and environmental initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure high‑quality execution and compliance with client specifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Rio Tinto, clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing Rio Tinto Sustaining Capital projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver SMP‑based work scopes end‑to‑end.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external parties.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical ability and commitment to safety.
