Project Manager - Proposals

About the role

Amentum is seeking a full‑time Project Manager – Proposals to join its Project Development Office in Alice Springs, NT. The role supports the Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction (EPIC) team by delivering end‑to‑end proposal development for construction, operation, maintenance and management of facility assets and infrastructure across Australian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret RFPs, coordinate RFIs and develop solution strategies.
• Prepare Statements of Work, conduct bid analysis and create strategic execution packages.
• Lead the development, review and release of all proposal elements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and document control processes.
• Develop detailed project execution packages for awarded proposals and support project execution as assigned.
• Promote and maintain health and safety practices at site and within the workplace.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Management or Project Management.
• Eligibility to obtain the required security clearance (U.S. TS/SCI or Australian clearance).
• Demonstrated experience in proposal development, RFP analysis and bid management.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
