Project Manager - Medium Voltage

About the role

Eaton's Power Distribution Systems & Services Division is looking for a project manager to lead and manage Medium Voltage (MV) customer projects and services. The role ensures on-time delivery, budget maintenance and high customer satisfaction, covering project specifications and requirements as well as resource schedules for internal staff and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with the Eaton Project Management Model.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
• Perform risk management and review it with the PMO manager to minimise project risks.
• Review financial obligations, time bars and bank guarantees and ensure compliance.
• Discuss technical challenges and gaps with the engineering team and turn them into opportunities.
• Coordinate project resources such as the project coordinator and document controller, and internal resources and vendors.
• Develop a detailed project plan and schedule, tracking progress and giving fortnightly updates.
• Measure project performance with appropriate systems and tools.
• Forecast finances regularly, update SAP and report changes to the PMO Analyst and PMO manager.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience in the electrical industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated, reliable and independent team member.
• Solid organisation and time-management skills, attention to detail and strong logical thinking.

Required skills

• Sound technical knowledge of project systems, tools and methodologies, such as SAP.
