Project Manager - Medium Density Developments

About the role

Dale Alcock Projects, an expanding construction division of the ABN Group, is recruiting a Project Manager in Perth to deliver medium-density developments such as apartments, townhouses, grouped housing and retirement villages. Reporting to the Building Manager, you are responsible for overall project delivery from design concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver each project safely, to quality and cost, on schedule and with client satisfaction
• Manage all project contractual matters and communicate clearly with the project team
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, setting corrective actions as needed
• Prepare, manage and track the programme, including monthly project reports, cash flow forecasting and tender letter schedules
• Manage stakeholders and evaluate them so that standards are met and delivery stays on track
• Review the effectiveness of the project system for continual improvement
• Ensure HSEQ procedures are implemented and drive a strong site safety culture

Required profile

• Experience as a Project Manager on commercial projects
• Tertiary qualification (or equivalent including trade and experience) in a construction discipline such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Sound technical knowledge of various contracting models
• Ability to work within tight time restraints
